"Ribbon Update"

We will be selling our seam binding ribbon at various
shows and have been packaging ribbon bundles like
crazy! I didn't like how the ribbon would crease on the
cards so I came up with a new way to package them
in bundles. The pictures below show how I'm wrapping the
ribbons now along with a new card that I wrap
around them. Please note that all ribbon orders will come
packaged in these bundles even though the pictures on the
ribbon page show them still on the cards. It will take
me awhile to get all the new pictures taken of all the different
colors but we are working on it!!
We are happy to announce
that we are lowering the ribbon prices also!!

Happy Monday to all of you. I hope
everyone had a great Father's Day
weekend!! The weather has been much
cooler now which is so nice. I just can't
seem to get motivated enough
to work when it's so hot.
My birthday gift from Eric was delivered
on Saturday!!! YESSS!! No, it wasn't
flowers, clothes or jewelry.
No, no, no, it was this baby.........
My new EZ- Up Tent Canopy!!!!
YEAH BABY YEAH!!!
I have been wanting one of these for the
longest time and since we are going to
start doing shows, this was the perfect gift!!
They say it can go up in under 60 seconds,
yup, it says that right on the description!!
Isn't it funny how when you have a
business or something that you are so
passionate about, all you want are
things having to do with that business
or passion!! You know what I'm talking
about!! :) I'm not into fancy clothes,
shoes or jewelry. I much prefer to buy
myself something for my business
or some cash for treasure hunting!!
We will have our booth set up at
Rice's Country Market this coming
Saturday in New Hope, Pennsylvania.
If you are in the area, stop by and say

I found a new website that I'm thrilled
about and wanted to share it with you
all. It's called "Faded Plains" and
the owner, Andrea Dickerson is
the sweetest gal. She offers such pretty
treasures both new and vintage. I received my
package of goodies from her:
A cute wire basket (you all know I'm
a sucker for wire baskets!) Lots of
twiggy nests that I will be embellishing
and the most fragrant soaps!! As soon
as I opened my package, the most sweet,
delicious smells came wafting out
of the box. I have them sitting in my
workroom and they scent the whole room!
Now, I just found out that she is selling
candles in these same wonderful scents!!
Yummy Black Raspberry Vanilla and
Italian Ice! I'm also a sucker for hand
made soaps and will never buy store
bought soaps....unless they are handmade!!
See, I used to own a soap making business
where I would teach classes
on making cold process lye soap
and we used to produce hundreds of pounds
of soap every week, but I will go into
that in more detail later......back to Andrea!!!

Good morning everyone!
It's going to be another scorcher
today. The temperature reached 98
yesterday! I'm having a hard time
drinking my coffee this morning because
it's already getting hot and I just can't
drink hot liquids when it's hot...but then
again, I really need my
coffee in the mornings!!!
You may have noticed that we added
a new category to the site, it's called
"Sold Items", so now you don't have
to look through all the items to try and
find the items that are still for sale!!
I think this will help alot.
We celebrated Eric's birthday yesterday
and mine will be on Tuesday, I'm
turning 39!!! It's my last year in my
30's, hard to believe!! :) Yes, I think
it's so great that Eric and I have our
birthdays only days apart and we are
both Gemini's, which could
explain alot of things!! haaa!!
I will be adding new treasures soon.

Is it June already?!! I can't believe that there is only
two weeks of school left for Victoria and then she
will be out for the summer!! Yesssss!! Then it's beach time!!
I didn't realize that yesterday was the 1st, I don't
know what I was thinking and I forgot to announce
the monthly drawing winner!! So, this morning
before Victoria left for school we

WE'RE BACK!!! Yes, I'm back
from the Brimfield, MA. flea market
that was held last week. We had a great
time and one of the things I love the
most about going up to Massachusetts
is the drive, it's such a beautiful drive.
I have included some photos of our trip
below and I will be back a little later
to list more sneaky peeks of items that
we are going to be listing today.
I'm so sorry about some of the pictures
turning out a bit blurry, I didn't notice
I had my camera on the wrong setting,
I was just to excited!! :) Ohhh, we
have alot of treasures to list so we will
be doing that over the next few days.
We have been cleaning up, painting
and hitting things with the fairy stick
for the past few days!!

As you can imagine, I spent a long,
LONG time in this fantastic ribbon
booth, she had the most amazing things.
I brought home a stash of gorgeous
ribbons and flowers to adorn some
of the treasures I will be listing later!!
Check out those itty bitty basket
pincushions on the right hand corner,
they are carved out of walnut shells!!
This shabby booth with all it's beautiful
furniture was one of my favorites!
Wonderful vintage bottles but most
were priced over $50.00... OOUCHH!!

Oh my, I'm so sorry for being away so long. I have
been super swamped with working on orders and
getting packages together for shipping.
I can't believe how quickly time flies!
I'm getting really excited because there is only 4
days left before we leave on our buying, road trip to the
Brimfield Flea Market in MA!! I will be taking my
camera with me so that I can show you
all lots of pictures of our trip there.
The town of Brimfield, MA. is transformed into a
huge flea market, with over 5,000 vendors!
I have been working on a new fluffier cupcake design.
I wasn't really happy with the way they looked
before. I wanted them to be fuller, like real cupcakes!!
So, I bought a new pastry tip and wow, what a
difference it makes! I love how the new cupcakes look now.
Look at those nice fluffy buttercream swirls,
then sprinkled with a sparkly,
sugary fairy dust of course!
The small, sad pastry tip on the right is the old tip I was
using when I made the cupcakes and the new whopping
big bad baby on the left is
the one I use now!!! LOVE IT!
For those of you who have
ordered cupcakes within the
past week, don't worry, your cupcakes
will be frosted with the new bad baby tip!!

I received your email but when I went to send you a
reply, it came back as non-deliverable. Can you
please email me again and give me your
correct email address. Thanks a bunch!
I was having trouble with
my mailbox for some strange
reason so if any of you have sent me an email and
I haven't responded yet,

respond to every email letter
I get, it may not be right
away but I do respond to all of them so if you
didn't get one from me, please re-send!!!
The new items up there will be listed tonight. Eric
helps me out by doing all the listing of the new items
after I have taken the pictures, crop them, send them
to his email address and then add them here on the
homepage as sneaky peeks!! So he will get
those listed tonight, he promises!! :)

Good morning sweet friends. Yes, today is May 1st....can you believe it?! Only a month
and a half left in the school year, it's hard to believe that summer is almost here.
While on my morning outing to take Victoria to
school, I was in awe at all the greenery around me!!
No more bare trees, they all have their beautiful new foliage and it makes me so happy
to look at it. I have to tell you, I have never seen green like this in my life.
The greenery on the east coast is amazing and brilliant.
You all know what today is right? Yes, it's the first of the month and that means
we get to pick a winner for the monthly drawing prize!! I'm going to wait until Victoria
gets out of school today so that she can pick the name out of the bowl
and I will be back here to announce the winner later today.
WOW.....I have to tell you what my sweet dear friend Andrea did.......she posted
about me and my creations on her blog yesterday and it's beautiful,
I was so excited!! Go take a peek at her blog:

I was overwhelmed by the response I received yesterday from her readers that saw
her post. Thank you again girlfriend......you are just too kind and generous!! I LOVE YA!!!

and we will be posting some new treasures either tonight or tomorrow. I was wanting
to get them on today but I have some orders that I'm getting packaged and shipped
